Day 106 -- Book 106
Ten Miles Past Normal --
Frances O'Roark Dowell
Janie just wants to be "normal," whatever that means for a high school student. She lives on a farm that she suggested her parents buy when she was younger. It was a cool idea at the time. Now, not so much.
To achieve her idea of "normal" she learns how to play bass and joins a band, becoming a wild child. Janie is arrested. There's also this boy named Monster. Does all that really qualify as being a "normal" teen?
I've been wanting to read this one for a while! :)
