It's the future. 2150. Turning sixteen is still a right of passage for young ladies, but it has morphed into something different. Something dangerous.
Nina's life is turned upside down when her mother is suddenly killed. On her deathbed, she tells Nina that her father is still alive and that she has to get her sister's baby book to him.
Nina and her sister move in with her gran and pops. She is led on this mission to continue her mother's work and discover the truth.
