Wonderstruck -- Brian Selznick
Two stories that find their way to each other.
1977 - Ben has been living with his aunt and uncle since his mother died. Besides his mother, he's missing something in his life.
One night during a storm, Ben's house is struck by lightning, leaving him deaf. He sets off on an adventure to find the father he never knew.
1927 - Rose is unhappy living with her father. She leaves in search of her mother, a famous actress in New York. Unwanted by her mother, she searches for her brother.
